Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people? This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Bank Education Support Worker to join Victoria School.
As an Education Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the lives of our young people, supporting their daily activities, educational needs and personal development. You will work closely with a magnificent team including teachers, therapists and other support workers to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
* Support students throughout the school day in a range of subjects and activities, such as Reading, Maths, ICT, PE, Swimming, Dance, Drama, Food Tech and Music.
* Provide the highest standards of professional support to students.
* Communicate with the students using their preferred means of communication.
* Promote and reinforce students’ self-esteem, social development and independence.
* Provide direct care to all young people in line with agreed standards of care.
* Prepare classroom as directed for lessons, and clear afterwards.
* Establish good working relationships with students.
* Support students’ physical, emotional and educational development.
