About The Role
Exciting opportunity for a Project Worker, based in our Newhaven Foyer, to work with a caseload of young people who are homeless or have recently experienced homelessness.
At Salvation Army Homes, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality housing services, support, and resettlement.
The Project Worker will work with young people in a psychologically informed environment (training provided) and will engage creatively with clients to:
* Grow their strengths and talents
* Develop skills and resources to transform their lives
* Support tenancy sustainment
* Improve understanding of financial management
* Enable better health and wellbeing
* Assist in moving on to independent living
About You

You will be able to:
* Motivate young people to recognize and unlock their talents
* Engage and relate to young people aged 16-25
* Build trusting, professional relationships and demonstrate resilience
* Support clients to sustain their accommodation and manage their license agreement
* Have knowledge or experience working with homeless or vulnerable people
* Be familiar with community resources and handle complex situations
* Apply safeguarding principles in your work
* Participate in a shift rota over 7 days
