Overview
Our aim is to provide high quality child-centred Early Learning and Childcare for children aged 2-5 years, reflecting and responding to individual needs and identity. This role involves planning and delivering a child-centred, creative early years curriculum that meets the needs of individual children, and building strong relationships with children, their families and partner agencies.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver a high-quality, child-centred Early Learning and Childcare curriculum for children aged 2-5 years.
* Foster positive relationships with children, families and partner agencies; work in a collaborative team to support children's development.
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment in Inch View Primary School, Perth, and contribute to high standards of care.
* Adapt activities to meet individual needs and identities, and reflect on practice to improve outcomes.
* Engage in planning, assessment, and recording of children's progress in line with local guidelines and SSSC requirements.
Skills & Experience / Qualifications
* Enthusiastic, nurturing and innovative Early Childhood Practitioner.
* Ability to work in a team with a flexible and reflective approach to working with young children and parents.
* Suitable qualification e.g. SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, SCQF level 7 equivalent or SVQ 3 in Childcare and Education or SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People); eligible to register with SSSC.

This role requires registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). If not yet registered, you may apply, with registration expected within 6 months of starting. If you have lived overseas for 12 months or more in the last 10 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check is required. The offer is subject to mandatory pre-employment checks (including references) and eligibility to work in the UK.
