Job Title: SEND Teaching AssistantLocation: Hampton, London Contract: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Salary: Paid to Scale About the Role We are looking for a compassionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Hampton, London. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). In this role, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support, helping students to access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities •Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEND •Assist teachers in delivering differentiated lessons and targeted interventions •Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCPs •Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and social development •Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff •Build strong, supportive relationships with students, staff, and parents •Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment About You •Experience working with children with SEND (in a school or similar setting) is desirable •A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach •Strong communication and interpersonal skills •Ability to adapt to the varying needs of students •A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing •Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential What We Offer •A welcoming and inclusive school community •Ongoing training and professional development opportunities •A supportive team environment •A highly rewarding role where you can make a real difference INDLON
