Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects. This position requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, along with proficiency in relevant software and project management skills. The ideal candidate will be innovative, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
* Design and develop civil engineering projects including Property structural work and home improvement projects
* Manage the site and staff
* Work closely with Director and project design and documentation.
* Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
* Collaborate with architects, Workers, and other engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
* Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
* Purchasing materials and managing cost
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations for Directors outlining project progress and outcomes.
* Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
* Implement system design strategies to optimise project efficiency and sustainability.
Requirements
* A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, Mathcad, and other CAD software.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
* Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations pertaining to civil engineering projects.
* Excellent mathematical skills for precise calculations and data analysis.
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
