Finance Officer
£32,829 – £35,109; 35 hours per week; temporary until 30 April 2028; Dundee
Due to an internal promotion we have an exciting opportunity within our Finance Department. We are looking to recruit for the role of Finance Officer on a temporary basis until 30 April 2028.
Responsibilities
* Help in the monthly budget monitoring process by compiling information and holding meetings with your own budget holders
* Help compile the SSSC annual budgets
* Help in the production of the SSSC statutory annual accounts
* Carry out monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Compile information for financial or statistical returns
* Help train and develop finance and non-finance staff
Qualifications
* Hold a relevant HNC or equivalent Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification, or degree, or have significant experience
* Demonstrate an appreciation of the importance of accuracy and attention to detail
* Have organisational skills that help you prioritise and manage your own workload
* Be a strong communicator and demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service
* Be able to work on your own initiative and with minimal supervision
* Be able to work flexibly as part of a team
The starting salary for this post will be at the minimum point of the advertised pay scale.
