Beechcroft is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with additional Midday Supervisor responsibilities to support our vibrant team of educators and help create a positive, engaging learning environment for our pupils.

The role is for 12 hours per week, term time only, plus Inset Days. Your normal working pattern would be Monday and Tuesday 8:40am to 3:10pm with an unpaid 30 minute break for lunch.
About The Role
As a Teaching Assistant you will:
* work closely with classroom teachers to support the delivery of high quality lessons
* provide one to one or small group support to pupils who need additional help
* foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all pupils
* support pupil’s social, emotional and behavioural development
* provide support to the lunch time team in the hall and on the playground to ensure a smooth and well organised transition

* has experience working with children in an educational setting, preferred but not essential
* is patient, kind, and committed to supporting every child’s individual needs
* works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with staff, pupils, and parents
* is proactive, flexible, and eager to learn
