IT Support / Service Desk Analyst
Contract: 6 Months initially
Location: Surrey
IR35: Inside IR35

Overview:
We are currently looking for a personable and proactive Service Desk Analyst to join a dynamic team. This role focuses heavily on user communication, providing reassurance, and delivering first-line support.
This position prioritises excellent communication skills, calmness under pressure, and a hands-on approach to resolving issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary IT support contact for remote business users.
* Monitor and respond to support requests through chat and other communication channels.
* Provide clear, calm communication and reassurance while troubleshooting user issues.
* Perform basic desktop and application support tasks.
* Escalate more complex issues and assist in managing applications during incidents.
* Actively engage with users, follow up on support tickets, and manage expectations effectively.
* Work cohesively onsite with the existing IT team to support operational stability.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
* Friendly, approachable behaviour with confidence in handling stressed users.
* Basic proficiency in desktop and application support.
* A hands-on attitude with the willingness to learn and adapt.
* The ability to remain composed and professional in a high-pressure environment.
* Previous experience in IT support or service desk roles
