DWP Digital is recruiting a Configuration Manager to help shape the future of digital public services. You'll support the design and improvement of Configuration Management services and tooling, and play a key role in developing and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
You'll help set the direction for Configuration Management across DWP Digital, ensuring the CMDB provides accurate, reliable data for critical platforms. You'll also support major digital transformation programmes, contribute to our roadmap, and help improve how configuration data is captured, managed and used.
What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
1. Strong experience in IT Configuration Management, with handson expertise in CMDBs and delivering effective solutions in complex environments using industrystandard data models
2. Working knowledge of Service Management frameworks, ideally ITIL
3. Proven ability to influence, collaborate and deliver with stakeholders at all levels
4. Skilled in ServiceNow and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, along with related analytical and reporting tools
