We are recruiting for an experienced Property Portfolio Manager to take responsibility for a significant residential portfolio in the Reading area. This role will focus on managing properties across the local Reading area with ongoing support from a wider property management team. This position offers scope for progression as the portfolio and local presence continue to expand. What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities): Managing and overseeing the onboarding of a large residential portfolio Acting as the main point of contact for the landlord and tenants Keeping the client fully informed throughout the onboarding process Liaising with senior management regarding progress and performance Managing the portfolio on an ongoing basis once onboarding is complete Arranging and agreeing maintenance works with landlords and contractors Carrying out regular property inspections Ensuring all legal certificates are in place and valid Managing compliance, including upcoming Renters’ Rights legislation Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies Supporting business growth by identifying opportunities to increase local presence and income What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience): Proven experience in residential portfolio or property management Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a large workload Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills Ability to work autonomously while liaising with a wider team High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving Experience using property management systems such as Goodlord, Fixflo, or PayProp advantageous Relevant property or lettings qualifications beneficial Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle What's In It For You?
