What’s in the role and what are we looking for? We are recruiting for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our IT team based at our Distribution Centre. The successful candidate will report into our IT security Manager, and will support the IT team in protecting our systems, data, stores, and e-commerce platforms from cyber threats. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or further develop their career in cyber security within a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to help monitor, identify and respond to security risks across the business. Some of the key responsibilities include : · Monitor security alerts from Microsoft 365, endpoint protection and network security tools. · Investigate and triage phishing emails and suspicious activity reported by colleagues. · Support security awareness initiatives and phishing simulation campaigns. · Escalate potential security incidents to the IT Security Manager. · Assist in maintaining secure configurations across all IT, and mobile devices and cloud platforms. · Support patch management and vulnerability remediation activities. · Assist with user access reviews and identity management processes. · Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, investigations and remediation actions. · Assist with compliance activities, including supporting PCI DSS and data protection requirements. · Work closely with Infrastructure and third-party providers to ensure security best practices are followed. · Stay up to date with emerging cyber threats and industry best practice. The Successful Candidate will: · Have a strong interest in Cyber Security and IT. · Have an understanding of cyber threats such as phishing, malware and ransomware. · Be familiar with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments. · Have excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. · Be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. · Have strong written and verbal communication skills. · Previous experience in an IT support or technical role would be advantageous but not essential.
