Lecturer Brickwork (0.8), permanent, part time. Location: Accrington, Lancashire. Salary: Up to £32,259.20 per annum (£40,324 full time equivalent), depending on experience. Hours: 28 per week. The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a talent and student focused Lecturer Brickwork to join our Construction & Motor Vehicle team, on a part-time, permanent basis. The role involves teaching on a range of programmes within the Brickwork and Groundworks provision, from Entry Level to Level 3. The successful candidate will have responsibility for developing the Brickwork curriculum and developing employer relationships to support industry placements. The post is primarily based at our Accrington & Rossendale College campus, with travel across sites possible. This role could suit an experienced practitioner, a newly qualified teacher, or a trainee teacher supported with development.

What You Will Be Doing
* Be up to date, and plan and prepare high quality teaching as required by your line manager to the appropriate number of hours (810 hours per annum, pro-rated).
* Develop and share resources for the course/subject, including maintaining effective links across College for resources.
* Deliver enrichment and enhancement activities.
* Maintain comprehensive and up to date student/course/subject records and provide this information when requested.
Be responsible for the appropriate administration of exam entries for the course/subject, and liaise with external awarding bodies, as appropriate.
What We Are Looking For
* Minimum GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
* Degree or higher-level qualification in a relevant subject area or appropriate professional qualification.
* Recognised teaching qualification (or a willingness to achieve one within the first 3 years of appointment).
