Class 1 Driver - Droitwich
We are currently recruiting for experiencedHGV Class 1driverson anAd-Hocbasis to meet the needs of the business at our busyDroitwichdepot.The role consists of refrigerated multi drop deliveries to shops and stores, From 8 to 15 drops per day. The role involves cage deliveries of milk and some locations you are required to use a tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.
Immediate starts after successful assessment and Induction.
TEMPORARY On-Going Role!
* Night and early morning start times.
* Predominantely working weekends and holiday cover.
Day pay rates:
* Monday – Friday £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85)
* Saturday £17.85
* Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80
Nights pay rates:
* Monday – Friday £18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.39)
* Saturday £20.39
* Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.19
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
Day to day duties will include the following:
* Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
* Prepping vehicles for delivery.
* Completing vehicles checks.
* Refueling vehicles.
* Multi drop deliveries.
* Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
* Manual Handling trolleys
* The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
* At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
* Excellent Communication skills.
* UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
* Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
* Immediate start for successful candidates!
