Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Wood Machinist to work in their leading facility in Telford.
The hiring manager would prefer someone who has worked on a CNC Router or in a Workshop doing Woodwork.
For the successful Wood Machinist our client is offering;
* Hourly rate of up to £13 per hour - This will depend on experience
* Monday to Thursday 7am – 5pm, Friday 7am – 3pm
* Overtime opportunities
* Temporary - Permanent position
The Role of the Wood Machinist:
* Operating a wood routing CNC machine
* Working to different specifications
* Sanding down of wood
* Daily use of hand and power tools including air and nail guns
* Using a variety of saws within the workshop
* Following Health & Safety guidelines
* Lifting of different sizes of Wooden boards
* Manual handling
* Sweeping up
What our client is looking for in a Wood Machinist:
* Previous Machine Operating experience - ESSENTIAL
* Previous experience with a CNC Router - HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS
* This is a PHYSICAL role that will involve LIFTING different sizes of products
* Knowledge of Health & Safety Guidelines / Manual Handling
