Your Role
We are on the lookout for a passionate Room Leader to join our dedicated team. This full-time role involves working 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm. The ideal candidate will hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification. Please note, this is a year-round position, as our nursery operates throughout the year.

As Room Leader, You Will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences that cater to children's age and development stage
* Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs
* Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role
* Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments
* Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor
* Understand and uphold the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS

What You Need:
* Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification
* Essential: Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years
* Desirable: Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position
* Desirable: Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating
* Essential: Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
* Essential: Fluent in written and spoken English
