The Opportunity
A prestigious international law firm is seeking a talented and driven White Collar Crime Associate to join its London office. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a highly regarded team on complex litigation, regulatory, and compliance matters involving both domestic and international clients. You’ll work closely with partners and senior lawyers, advising on high-profile white collar crime matters, including corporate investigations, regulatory defence, and cross-border disputes.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide legal advice on litigation, regulatory, and compliance matters.
* Conduct in-depth legal research across UK, EU, and international jurisdictions.
* Advise clients on legal strategy, risk, and compliance.
* Draft, edit, and review legal documents, including opinions, memoranda, and court filings.
* Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, and client meetings.
* Supervise junior associates and paralegals as required.
* Participate in training seminars, court observations, and professional development programmes.
* Represent clients in negotiations, court proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution forums.
* Travel as needed for client matters.
About You
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* UK qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3+ PQE (ideally 5 PQE and above)
* Prior experience in white collar crime, litigation, or regulatory law.
* Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
* Experience working in a corporate law firm or equivalent professional environment.
* Technically proficient with Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
