HWGTA are a well-established and respected “not for profit”, Ofsted “Outstanding” training provider, specialising in Apprenticeship and adult workforce training. Would you like to contribute towards the continued success of our Engineering Apprenticeship programme?
Are you an Engineer who would like to train apprentices in one or more of the following areas: Turning, Milling, CNC, CAD or Hand Fitting techniques? The role is based at our training centre in Worcester, within our Engineering department.
Role and responsibilities
* Contribute to a well sequenced curriculum plan for the specified apprenticeship programme.
* Ensure delivery is appropriate to the learning group and relevant to the qualification.
* Motivate and support learners to optimise their potential.
* Give timely and constructive feedback to learners, both in delivery sessions and through written or verbal means, when work is submitted for tutor review/assessment.
Qualifications and experience
* Experience in a Manufacturing/Engineering workplace.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Confidence when working with people of all ages and abilities.
* Be enthused by passing on their own skills and knowledge to apprentices.
* Update their own training delivery skills, through an ongoing CPD programme.
