This role is suitable for qualified teachers or experienced tutors interested in flexible 1:1 tutoring with learners demonstrating diverse needs. Our focus is on engagement and holistic, creative support to improve each learner's educational journey.

Your Role as a SEN/SEND Tutor
* Design personalized lessons in Maths, English, or Science to support learners with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other needs.
* Deliver tuition sessions in students' homes or schools (in-person only).
* Monitor learner progress regularly and provide feedback to enhance outcomes.
* Collaborate with parents, guardians, and schools to ensure engagement.
* Maintain accurate session records via our virtual platform.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
* At least 6 months of teaching or tutoring experience in the UK, especially with SEN/SEND learners.
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
* Two references related to your educational work from the past two years.
* Enhanced DBS check (can be arranged through Fleet at a cost).
* Commitment to safeguarding learners with SEN and complex needs.
Additional Information
* As a Tutor with Fleet, you will be listed as an Agency Worker, supporting short or long-term tuition engagements. Hours are not guaranteed.
* Work is under a contract for service, paid via PAYE.
* All placements are covered by our insurance.
* Shortlisted candidates will complete our safer recruitment process, aligned with KCSIE standards.
* This is not a self-employed position.
