Academics in Canterbury are seeking an experienced and confident HLTA's to support primary schools across East Kent, including Canterbury, Thanet, Dover, Whitstable/Herne Bay, Folkestone, and Hythe.

What you’ll do as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant:

Lead whole-class lessons and group interventions
*
Support teachers with planning and classroom management
*
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
*
Work closely with staff to help every child achieve their best
What we’re looking for:
*
Qualified HLTA or equivalent experience
*
Strong classroom management and communication skills
*
Confidence in leading lessons across KS1 and KS2
*
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
