Veterinary Surgeon
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a growing and ambitious small animal practice in the Corby area. Key Duties
* Deliver high-quality veterinary care across consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and routine surgery
* Manage a varied small animal caseload independently
* Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice
* Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and nursing team
* Support and mentor less experienced colleagues where appropriate
* Maintain excellent standards of patient and client care
Working Pattern
* Full-time role averaging 40 hours per week
* 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am-6pm)
* No Sundays
* No out-of-hours commitments
The practice is open to discussing flexibility for the right candidate.
Practice Facilities & Team
* Busy and well-established small animal practice with a loyal client base
* Supportive team including experienced vets, RVNs, SVNs, VCAs, and reception staff
* Strong emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and positive workplace culture

Key Skills, Qualifications and Requirements
* BVSc or equivalent qualification recognised in the UK
* RCVS registered (or eligible to register)
* Minimum 2-3 years' small animal experience preferred
* Confident with consultations, diagnostics, and routine surgery
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Team-oriented approach with a proactive mindset
* Passion for delivering high standards of patient and client care
