Asa HealthcareAssistant on the ward at our hospital,you'll show us you're able to meet deadlines and follow instructions.You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills.You will be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, and hold relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward and Day Case Suite, you will:
* Putpatient care first
* Carry out administrative duties
* Supporting a team of Registered Nurses and consultants in the delivery of exceptional patient care, pre and post surgery
* Enjoy time to get to know the people who are our patients
* Meet the needs of every individual
* Useyour organisational skills to make a positive impact and experience
* Enjoy more time to care for patients as individuals
* Manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities
* Assist consultants and nurses with procedures, such as dressings and wound care
* Create a great experience for patients undergoing major and minor surgeries
* Have the time you need to care for patients as people
* Understand people's individual needs
