The Opportunity
The Grange School is seeking to recruit a Football Academy Coach on a fixed term contract with effect from September 2025, term time only until Friday 3rd July 2026.
The role will provide students at The Grange School the opportunity to progress to the next level through excellent training, strength and conditioning, education and video analysis. As part of the academy we arrange for students to perform against academy standard teams, be watched by scouts and coaches and appropriate trials arranged and the successful candidate would contribute into this programme.
Individual plans for each student will be produced and reviewed throughout the course of the year. Reports and feedback will be given to students and parents at the end of each term. Further details about the Academy can be found on our website:
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the role will include, but not be limited to the following:
* Plan and devise a program which develops footballers achieve their next level.
* Plan and lead a coaching program for the football academy from ages year 3 to year 8.
* Create individual plans for all performers.
* Use video analysis to feedback to performers.
* Analyse data and report/feedback to performers and parents.
* Arrange and organise high profile fixtures.
* Help to create and develop strong links with amateur and professional football clubs.
* Create a strong pre-season programme, including tours.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months
Pay: £7,652.02 per year
