Are you a sales professional in the engineering or construction products industry seeking an exciting opportunity?
We are looking to recruit an experienced sales professional to support our client base in the East/Southeast of England.
Your Role: Key Responsibilities
Our Territory Salespeople are essential to driving our business forward. They act as brand ambassadors, promoting our products proactively to the industry, supporting customers from the architectural ironmongery, construction, and architecture sectors, handling technical queries, and advising on suitable products. We seek individuals with a genuine interest in engineering and the ability to create business opportunities.
Your main focus will be to sell our door hardware and door closer products across your territory. You will promote dormakaba as an organization, collaborate with other sales specialists, and seek opportunities for cross-selling within our product portfolio. Your role involves managing existing clients and developing new ones, offering variety and growth opportunities.
Performance Expectations
You should be comfortable achieving or exceeding sales targets, growing your customer base, and monitoring commercial and operational performance (via revenue and margin) to meet business goals.
Additional Duties
* Engage with GAI and certification bodies to promote dormakaba products
* Account manage key regional customers
Required Skills and Experience
Ideally, you will have 3-5 years of experience in the door hardware sector, selling door hardware, door closers, locking systems, or related products. Other sectors may also be considered. You should demonstrate:
* A successful track record in multi-disciplinary product and solution sales
* Good understanding of MS Office for administrative purposes
* Being an active GAI member and awareness of Fire Certify certification are advantageous but not essential
