About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and working closely with the Regional Directors, the Regional Sales Managers will be responsible for the sales team in Greater London and its performance. You will manage a team of Field Sales Executives, ensuring they hit their sales targets and supporting the Regional managers to translate local knowledge into priorities. You will model best‑in‑class behaviours in Salesforce and support rollout of training programmes, while providing two‑way feedback.


What You’ll Do

* Manage your team of direct reports to map, prospect, pitch and close the highest‑potential restaurants across your region.
* Work with commercial teams to structure complex deals and negotiate effectively with restaurants.
* Own overall pipeline management in your region with regular reviews.
* Understand and succinctly communicate Deliveroo’s value proposition to support selling into restaurants.
* Lead your teams on the ground, providing structure, clarity on priorities and setting clear, stretching goals.
* Hire, onboard and train top‑tier talent, embedding best practices and tools.
* Strictly manage underperformance via PiPs in partnership with HR.
* Gain in‑field insight into challenges and opportunities, working with the Head of Sales to roll out improvements.
* Align with RMs/CMs to support regional priorities and key partner deals through cross‑functional collaboration.
* Optimise territory planning, routing and market insights for broader sales strategy.
* Escalate local issues, resolving them quickly to keep the region aligned with wider priorities.
* Enjoy tasting food from high‑quality establishments and attending restaurant meet‑ups.

Number of priority restaurants signed each month in your region.


Additional Goals

* Onboarding excellence and upsells – maximise commercial opportunity and marketing package sales at launch.
* Time spent giving feedback and training to junior team members on their sales performance.


Requirements

* Comfortable with targeting new business and sales experience.
* 5+ years of sales and commercial experience.
* Experience managing a team and ensuring they hit targets.
* Ability to structure win‑win deals for restaurants and Deliveroo.
* Commercial knowledge of the economics of food delivery.
* Demonstrated product and industry knowledge to clients.
* Aspiring leader able to influence peers and manage cross‑functional initiatives.
* Ownership mindset and ability to work within demanding targets.
* Interest in all things food and restaurants.
* Tenacity and motivation.
* Live within assigned region.
* UK driving licence and a car.
* Additional language abilities in Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, Urdu, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese or Bahasa/Malay are valued.
