The Role & Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled, motivated vehicle technician to help keep our vehicles ready and reliable. You will:
* Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair.
* Test, diagnose, and resolve faults.
* Work on electrical and mechanical systems.
* Deal with unplanned emergency repairs, possibly including remote work.
* Inspect components for wear and tear.
* Commission and decommission vehicles, including installation and removal of specialist Police Enforcement Equipment.
This role offers a chance to maintain and improve your skills while supporting policing colleagues through vehicle maintenance improvements.

Skills & Experience
* Experience carrying out vehicle maintenance/repair.
* Proficiency in testing, diagnosing, and resolving faults.
* Working with electrical and mechanical systems.
* Handling unplanned emergency repairs.
* Inspecting components for wear and tear.
* Commissioning and decommissioning vehicles with specialist equipment.

* Level 3 minimum in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair NVQ or equivalent.
