Department overview Aftersales is responsible for increasing customer satisfaction and retention across a diverse product portfolio. The addition of highly specialist and engineered hypercars, such as the Aston Martin Valkyrie, has resulted in a unique direct customer support programme utilizing core hubs and pop-up locations to support cars and customers across the globe. Job purpose This key role will be responsible for managing the tooling and logistics requirements at the Hypercar workshops in Gaydon, UK, and at pop-up locations globally. Key duties and responsibilities Manage tooling and logistics as required to support service and repair at Gaydon and at remote locations, ensuring calibration of tooling is in place, appropriate levels of tooling in pop up locations, and always in good working order Responsible for the ordering of tooling, consumables and managing inventory as well as returns Lead as instructed by the RPL, the vehicle check in and check out process, physically and via Salesforce Lead as instructed by the COE Manager, quality audits and ad hoc administrative tasks Support as required with the creation of Job cards, ensure accurate documentation of repairs and closing of completed Repair Orders Support as required with the creation and management of customer invoices and sublet invoices Lead as instructed by the RPL, management of the workshop preparation and activity Risk Assessments Support with the creation of estimates for vehicle retail repairs and track event support Support with the swift processing of all warranty claims in line with manufacturers’ policy Experience and qualifications Essential experience Tooling and or logistics management experience Valkyrie/Hypercar/racecar build or repair experience Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspection Working across functional teams effectively Parts, tooling and logistics expertise Positive, can do attitude is a must CAD and Microsoft office Salesforce experience Preferred experience Evidence prioritization of multi-tasks delivery on a day-to-day level. Must be flexible and able to communicate at all levels. Valkyrie build and repair experience (preferred, not essential). Essential education/ qualifications HV Safety Training Advanced Technical or Engineering qualification Preferred education/ qualifications F-Gas training Compressed gases and cryogenic training COSSH Required skills/ behaviours Creative thinking and problem-solving Strong teamworking skills are required to ensure effective communication and collaboration across functional teams Being pro-active in promoting a positive image for the company Addtional requirements Proficient in workshop management. Proficient with workshop and dealership operations. Exceptional tooling and logistics understanding. Strong technical understanding of Valkyrie. Driving License.
