Position

Job Purpose (Role Definition):

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Logistics Manager to coordinate the timely and efficient transport of goods to customers and from suppliers. This role is central to ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly, meeting customer expectations while optimizing costs and lead times.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organisation to improve operational and financial performance
* Plan, book, and monitor transportation for outbound deliveries to customers and inbound shipments from suppliers.
* Ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods domestically and internationally.
* Communicate daily with transport companies, suppliers, customers and internal teams to confirm schedules, resolve delays, and adjust logistics plans as needed.
* Negotiate transport rates and maintain positive relationships with carriers and freight forwarders.
* Track shipments and proactively manage exceptions to avoid disruptions.
* Coordinate with warehouse, service, manufacturing, supply chain and customer experience teams to ensure readiness for dispatch and receipt.
* Maintain accurate transport records and generate logistics performance reports.
* Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
* Continuously seek ways to reduce transport costs and improve delivery performance.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Mandatory:
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Extensive experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or supply chain roles.
* Strong knowledge of shipping, freight, and logistics operations.
* International Shipping Experience
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Desirable:
* Experience in shipping Medical Devices.
* Knowledge of logistics and transport management systems.

* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
* A proactive and positive attitude to continuous improvement.
