HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver – Desborough£19.92 – £22.26ph | Weekly Pay | Ongoing bookings | Immediate StartsDesboroughStaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for ongoing trunking work based in Desborough. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent long-term work, immediate starts, and competitive PAYE rates within a well-organised 7-day operation.Drivers will benefit from a straightforward trunking role with pre-loaded trailers, modern equipment, and no handball involved.Pay Rates (PAYE)• Monday - Friday - £19.92ph including holiday pay• Saturday - £21.09ph including holiday pay• Sunday - £22.26ph including holiday payWhat the role involvesYou'll be completing trunking work between distribution centres using pre-loaded trailers carrying ambient goods. This is primarily a drop-and-swap operation with no handball required.The operation runs 7 days per week, with shifts averaging 9–12 hours and 8 hours guaranteed per shift.
Immediate starts are available with ongoing weekly bookings.Our ideal candidate• Holds a valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 1 year• Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card• Has no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, IN, or DR offences)• Temperature-controlled experience is preferred but not essentialStaffCo Direct provides weekly pay, PPE, online driver portal access, pension scheme enrolment, ongoing support from a dedicated account team, and consistent long-term bookings.
