Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – CAMHS / Eating Disorders
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Salary: £38,000 – £44,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Full-time | Permanent | 40.25 hours per week
We are looking to recruit a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a well-respected mental health service supporting children and young people in Rotherham. This service provides specialist inpatient care, including CAMHS and eating disorder support, within a highly supportive and multidisciplinary environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RMN who is passionate about working with young people and keen to develop specialist skills within a service that genuinely invests in its staff.
What the role involves:
Delivering thoughtful, person-centred care to children and young people
Acting as a key worker, contributing to care planning, risk management, and reviews
Working closely with families, therapists, and the wider multidisciplinary team
Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
Advocating for young people and ensuring their voices are heard
Supporting patients with physical interventions and NG feeding as part of their care (full training provided)Shifts & working pattern:
Days: 7:45am – 8:15pm
Nights: 7:45pm – 8:15am
7-day rota
40.25 hours per week (typically 3 shifts one week, 4 the next)
Flexibility available (e.g. 5 shifts one week, 2 the next)

Competitive salary of £38,000 – £44,000
Enhanced pay incentive:
Work over 172.5 hours per month (15 shifts) and receive an enhanced rate
From the 16th shift onwards paid at 1.25x, subject to no sickness or cancellations

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
A genuine passion for working with children and young people
Experience in CAMHS, eating disorders, or inpatient mental health is desirable but not essential
