An excellent, supportive and thriving secondary school based in Solihull is seeking to appoint a teaching assistant on a full time basis commencing in January.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be confident and proactive
- Have previous experience in a similar role/role within childcare or care
- Have knowledge and understanding or previous experience of supporting children with special educational needs
- Be able to commit to a full-time, long term position
- Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
You will be required to:
- Support pupils of all ages and abilities within the school
- Actively support and engage pupils with special educational needs
- Be empathetic and patient when supporting children with special educational needs
- Work in collaboration with teachers and other staff members within the school
- Follow the schools policies and procedures at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
