Role: HVAC Cooling Engineer Location: M4 Corridor (Target areas: Slough, Newport / South Wales) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum overtime & bonus Industry: HVAC / Critical Cooling / Data Centres We are recruiting HVAC Cooling Engineers to support the continued growth of a well-established and expanding specialist service team. You will join a high ly skilled group of 11 engineers and apprentices, primarily covering the M4 corridor, with occasional UK-wide travel and overnight stays when required. Role Overview The role focuses on commissioning, servicing, maintaining, and repairing critical cooling systems in high-dependency environments such as data centres. Key Responsibilities * Commission and start up newly installed cooling systems * Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on: * Chilled water systems * DX systems * Economiser cooling * In-row, perimeter, and containment cooling systems * Diagnose and resolve technical and performance issues efficiently * Supervise installation contractors and ensure best practice standards are followed * Operate in critical environments, including data centres * Use specialist software and applications for system diagnostics, analysis, and reporting * Adhere to all health & safety, compliance, and reporting procedures * Participate in an on-call rota (1 in every 5 weeks) What's on Offer * Salary between £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience * Overtime * Annual bonus: minimum 10% of salary based on personal and company performance * Strong pension scheme: * Company van provided * Company credit card for overnight stays * 28 days annual leave plus public holidays * Holiday buy & sell programme * Door-to-door travel (no unpaid commute time) * Strong work-life balance * Comprehensive training programme
