Where You’ll Be
This programme is based in either Jersey, Isle of Man or Guernsey locations. Some travel between these locations and the UK may be required.
Right to Work
Candidates need to have the legal right to live and work in Jersey, Isle of Man or Guernsey. (This is different from UK work permit).
Qualifications
Study for a relevant professional finance qualification such as Global Credit Certification (GCC) with the opportunity to take a further qualification in the second year of the programme. Training and costs are covered.
Responsibilities
Over two years, you’ll undertake four rotations across our Crown Dependencies business, gaining end-to-end exposure to banking—from building client relationships in Fiduciary, Funds and Corporate & International Private Banking and Product Design to Risk Management.
You’ll undertake work that matters, such as managing client portfolios, analyzing performance, supporting financial queries and driving strategic direction for the business and our clients.
Coverage Rotations
* Join high‑stakes client meetings, building stakeholder management skills and trust quickly.
* Create slick, client‑facing packs that showcase our solutions.
* Deliver strategic review presentations with case studies to celebrate wins and set next‑step action plans.
* Make senior management pipeline reports more visual and insightful.
* Design one‑page growth strategy templates to spot opportunities for strategic accounts.
* Drive simplification of the business through proactive and pace‑led change.
Risk and Product Rotations
* Support financial modelling to shape the future of a deal.
* Analyze ESG and reputational risks, proposing solutions.
* Handle client queries across two portfolios while juggling tight deadlines.
* Dive into ESG opportunities, helping clients make responsible choices.
* Explore product & risk, understanding lending, credit and transactional banking solutions.
* Support strategy, planning and system migrations.
* Apply insights from clients and stakeholders to support product and service development.
Learning & Development
* Work towards your Global Credit Certification (GCC) and other relevant training.
* Build commercial awareness and technical skills.
* Learn directly from relationship managers, senior leaders and product specialists.
