The role of Finance Business Partner sits within the FP&A Team which is responsible for Financial Planning, Reporting and Commercial Business Partnering across the group. The role has excellent visibility of the whole company and great access to key decision makers. This role would be suitable for a proactive and ambitious individual who wants to develop within a supportive team working on a wide variety of interesting and stimulating work.

Location:Liverpool, Formby / Hybrid
Working Hours:37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm
What you will be doing:
* Working within your allocated business area understanding their strategic aims and objectives and integrate this into a annual financial plan
* Updating and developing our rolling Income Statement Model so we have a full year outlook to help drive decision making, and to support budget delivery
* Share monthly and quarterly reporting packs across the business up to shareholder and board level, helping the senior leadership team to understand business performance.
* Creating commercial insights through understanding of the sales, pricing strategy, cost analysis and product profitability of the business, to help support decision making to drive business performance and results.
* Due to fast growth and profitability there will be opportunities to work on mergers and acquisition, due diligence, understanding our business model and much more.
What we are looking for:
* Communication & Presentation skills – understand financial data and present in a clear and actionable manner
* Strong people skills to enable business partnering and communicating at all levels within the business
* Advanced Excel analytical skills – be able to apply wide range of formulas and analytical techniques to understand our data, drive insights to influence decision making
* Finance Qualification (CIMA, ACCA etc.) or qualified by experience or undergraduate degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, or degree with meaningful mathematical content
* Critical Thinking skills – draw logical conclusions and solve problems creatively
