Pay: Starts at £13.35 per hour, rising to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
Hours: Minimum guaranteed 16 hours per week, with flexibility down to a minimum of 12 hours per week.
Availability window: Mon 06:00 – 13:00, Wed 06:00 – 14:00, Thu 06:00 – 14:00, Sat 06:00 – 10:00.
Responsibilities
* Ensure vans and trays are clean, tidy, and organised.
* Leave the back yard clean and clear of rubbish; pick up litter as seen.
* Participate in the tray wash process.
* Load the van as required and check it for roadworthiness.
* Communicate with customers regarding order changes, substitutions, or refunds.
* Handle products and deliveries with care.
* Explain to customers that they will not be charged for substitutions.
* Deliver during the customer’s time slot.
* Call the customer before arriving if early.
* Call the store/centre if running 30 minutes or more late.
Qualifications & Skills
* Full or automatic UK/EU/EEA driving licence held for at least 12 months, with no more than three penalty points.
* Strong customer focus – warm, welcoming and respectful.
* Ability to build team spirit and work collaboratively.
* Adaptable and energetic, able to respond quickly to changing customer needs.
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards improvement.
