AI Engineer/ Designer
We’re looking for an AI Engineer/ Designer to design, build, and optimise AI‑powered conversational systems across chat, voice, and multimodal interfaces. The role combines model integration, prompt engineering, and system orchestration to deliver reliable, human‑centred AI interactions that align with business goals.
Responsibilities
1. Design and implement conversational flows and interaction logic for AI‑driven chat and voice experiences.
2. Build, test, and refine prompts, system messages, and guardrails for LLM‑based applications.
3. Improve model accuracy, reduce hallucinations, and optimise responses for clarity, empathy, and context.
4. Develop and deploy AI solutions using LLM platforms, APIs, and backend integrations.
5. Configure and maintain components such as RAG pipelines, vector databases, memory systems, and context management.
6. Analyse conversation logs, model outputs, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
7. Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and responsible AI standards, including safe‑completion flows for sensitive scenarios.
8. Collaborate with product, engineering, and UX teams to translate requirements into scalable AI features.
Essential Skills
9. Degree in Computer Science, UX, HCI, Linguistics, Design, or equivalent experience.
10. experience building conversational interfaces (chatbots, voice assistants, virtual agents).
11. Hands‑on experience with generative AI models and prompt engineering.
12. Strong understanding of user‑centred design and conversational interaction patterns.
13. Ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Additional Skills
14. experience with LLM platforms, orchestration frameworks, and AI tooling.
15. Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, and semantic search.
16. Knowledge of NLP concepts and evaluation methods.
17. experience working in enterprise or regulated environments.
18. Background in UX writing, linguistics, or service design.
