Overview
As a Band 5 Registered Nurse working for HCRG Care Group, you will work collaboratively alongside our multi-disciplinary teams. This post is based at Livingstone Community Hospital, where you will contribute to holistic assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care. You should be passionate about the rehabilitation of patients in your care and be encouraging them to aid their ability for independent living. You will be supported by managers, colleagues and our Learning and Teaching Enterprise (TLE) department to complete your training and to learn the ropes of the job. We offer a preceptorship scheme for newly qualified staff within the first year and a return-to-practice scheme. Your ongoing learning and development will be supported through regular team meetings and weekly one-to-ones with managers. You will be provided with the latest equipment to enable high-quality clinical practice. We strive to excel in the CQC domains.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care at Livingstone Community Hospital.
* Contribute to rehabilitation of patients and support their independence and ability for independent living.
* Work within rapid response and community teams to provide high-quality patient care.
* Be supported during the start of your role by managers, colleagues and the TLE department to complete training and orient to the role.
* Participate in the preceptorship and return-to-practice schemes where applicable.
* Engage in regular team meetings and weekly one-to-ones with managers to support learning and development.
* Ensure delivery of high standards of care using up-to-date equipment and clinical practice.
* Contribute to safeguarding, safe working practices and adherence to organisational policies.
Qualifications
* Be a registered Nurse with a licence to practice.
* Be passionate about rehabilitation and encouraging patients to achieve independent living.
* Willing to cover all shift patterns, including nights and weekends, as services operate 24/7.
* Be confident using IT systems with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
