What youll be doing
As a Lifting Inspection Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering inspection, testing and compliance services across a variety of customer sites and operational environments.
This is a varied and hands-on role which includes:
* Carrying out lifting equipment inspections
* Load testing and pull testing activities
* Occasional destructive testing
* Inspection of lifting accessories and associated equipment
* Supporting operations within the rigging loft
* Producing accurate inspection reports and documentation
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards and company procedures
* Delivering excellent customer service and technical support to clients
What were looking for
Were looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and develop within the engineering and lifting inspection industry.
Essential / desirable requirements include:
* Experience working within the lifting equipment industry
* LEEA qualifications or working knowledge of LEEA standards
* Engineering, Mechanical NVQ or City & Guilds qualification desirable but not essential
* Experience working within a testing or inspection environment
* Good problem-solving ability with a practical approach
* Strong communication skills with the ability to share knowledge effectively
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
