Sales Development Representative | Poole | £35,000 + Commission
A growing and commercially ambitious engineering-led organisation is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities and accelerating sales growth.
Operating within a technical, application-focused environment, this business supplies specialist solutions to a diverse customer base across multiple industries. With a strong leadership team and clear growth strategy, the organisation is investing in its sales function and looking for a high-energy SDR to help unlock new markets and opportunities.
This is a front-line, high-impact role focused on creating qualified sales opportunities from cold companies, new product initiatives, and structured outreach campaigns. Reporting into senior sales leadership, you will be instrumental in building pipeline and fuelling revenue growth across the division.

Key responsibilities:
• Generate Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs) through proactive cold outreach and campaign activity
• Build and manage a consistent, healthy sales pipeline
• Establish and maintain a disciplined daily outreach rhythm
• Research, identify, and engage key decision-makers within target organisations
• Collaborate closely with marketing to align outbound activity with campaigns
• Develop strong technical and application knowledge to communicate value effectively
• Translate technical information into commercially compelling messaging
• Maintain CRM systems and ensure pipeline accuracy at all times
• Share customer and market intelligence to support wider sales success
• Continuously monitor performance and optimise outreach strategies
Experience required:
• Proven success in B2B sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
• Strong telephone presence and written communication skills
• Highly organised with disciplined time management
• Experience using CRM platforms and digital sales tools
• Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Commercially aware, resilient, and target-driven
• High levels of integrity and accountability
