Hgv driver/loader

Location: CO10 Area, Sudbury, Suffolk

Pay Rate: £15.52 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 15:00

Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment, likely to transfer permanent

We are currently recruiting for a HGV Driver/Loader to join a busy Refuse and Recycling team based in the CO10 postcode area. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified HGV Class 2 Driver who is willing to take a hands-on approach, supporting refuse collection duties while delivering an efficient and reliable service.

• Carry out daily refuse and recycling collections
• Operate vehicles and associated machinery safely and effectively
• Undertake loading duties and support the refuse collection team as required
• Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed
• Complete all relevant paperwork and records in real time
• Carry out daily vehicle and machinery inspections before and after use
• Report any defects, faults or maintenance requirements
• Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles and equipment
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with members of the public and other road users
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including safe lifting and handling techniques
