Are you a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse, keen to develop new skills and looking for a new challenge? Then we would like to hear from you!
We are recruiting for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to a 16 in‑patient ward with elective day case at Turner Community Hospital in Keith.
Turner Hospital admits patients for ongoing rehabilitation post stroke and orthopedic surgery, discharge planning and re‑enablement of frail patients who may require added support prior to discharge. We care for patients with end‑of‑life and palliative conditions, provide elective day‑case admissions for IV antibiotic therapy and blood transfusions, and admit patients from the local community as well as from Dr Grays Hospital and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The hospital works closely with the GP practice in Keith, located adjacent to the hospital itself.
The workload and patient groups are diverse and will provide opportunities to develop knowledge and skills relevant to Community Hospital nursing. Full support is given with professional development; the Practice Education Team in Dr Grays Hospital provides support to staff within the Community Hospital setting.
You will have the opportunity to work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, all committed to delivering high‑quality, safe, person‑centred care.
