This post is for a diagnostic radiographer who would like to work in a busy Radiology department as part of a friendly, close-knit team.
Responsibilities include working on rotation in CT and general radiography, including fluoroscopy, dental and theatre radiography. The department also provides a symptomatic mammography service and offers opportunities to train in this speciality.
The department operates 24/7, and this post includes participation in the out of hours shift system, undertaking both general Radiography and CT. The shifts include 12 hour day shifts, 10 hour back shifts and 12 hour night shifts.

As part of the National delivery plan for AHPs, NHS Tayside is developing services that offer direct access, 7-day service and genuine partnership with patients.
Current NHS Tayside Employees - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
Hours of work are: 36 average over an 18 week rota.
