Your next opportunity
Are you excited by the idea of shaping meaningful change in higher education? The University of Sunderland is looking for a motivated and forward‑thinking Timetable System Implementation Coordinator to play a key part in delivering our new, modernised timetabling solution.
This is a fantastic opportunity to influence how we timetable, schedule exams, manage room bookings, monitor attendance, and support graduation processes across the University. You'll be right at the heart of transforming the way our timetabling and awards team works, helping us create smarter, more efficient systems for staff and students.
In this role, you will take the lead on key elements of implementing the EventMAP system. You'll coordinate tasks across the project team, translate existing processes into streamlined workflows, and produce clear documentation, accurate data, and insightful project reports. You'll also take the lead on end‑user testing, ensuring the new system meets the needs of colleagues across the University.
As part of the team, you will support day‑to‑day activity, contribute to staff development, and work closely with internal colleagues and external suppliers to deliver high‑quality training and a smooth transition into business‑as‑usual. Your work will directly contribute to creating a better experience for our community.
This is a fixed‑term, part-time role (18.5 hours per week) until November perfect for someone eager to make a real impact.
Previous applicants need not apply.
Is this you?
We're looking for someone with experience in timetabling or related administrative processes in higher education (or a similar complex environment). Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively and support others through change.
If you enjoy improving systems, working with people, and helping teams work smarter, we'd love to hear from you.
