Position: Room Leader | Full Time | 40 Hours Per Week
Salary: £27,580 per annum

As a vital member of our team, you will lead the way in delivering our enriching ethos and curriculum to our wonderful children and their families. Our nursery operates from 7:00 AM to 6:15 PM, and we need someone flexible to work varied shifts within these hours.
Your Role: Responsibilities
As a Room Leader, you will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
* Support the holistic development of children—physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
* Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
* Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments and identify staff training needs.
* Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
* Understand and uphold the statutory framework for the EYFS.

Requirements: What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
* Essential: Over 1 year of experience in Early Years.
* Desirable: Over 6 months of experience in a senior position.
* Desirable: Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating.
* Essential: Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
* Essential: Fluency in written and spoken English.
