Key Responsibilities:
* Greeting guests as they arrive at the restaurant and escorting them to their table
* Presenting menus to guests and taking orders for food and drinks
* Making recommendations to guests regarding food and beverage selections
* Serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
* Checking on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues
* Processing payment for meals and handling cash and credit card transactions
* Assisting with the setup and clean-up of the restaurant before and after service
* Cleaning and resetting tables for the next guests
* Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure that food and beverages are delivered accurately and on time
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication skills
* Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised and capable of handling multiple tasks
* A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgement and minimal direction
