As CEO, you’ll be the strategic and inspirational force behind Home-Start RK&H — leading a talented team, representing their work publicly, and securing the resources needed to grow our impact.
You’ll bring both strategic leadership and hands‑on energy to drive fundraising, strengthen partnerships, and ensure the charity continues to thrive financially and operationally.
This is a role for a proactive relationship‑builder who can inspire trust and collaboration with funders, corporate partners, volunteers, and the families served.
The key responsibilities of the post are to:
* Lead and inspire staff and volunteers to deliver their mission and values across three boroughs
* Develop and implement a bold fundraising and income generation strategy — diversifying revenue through trusts, corporates, philanthropists, and community giving
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with major donors, partners, and local stakeholders, ensuring regular reporting of the organisation’s impact and ensuring Home-Start RK&H remains a trusted and visible community voice
* Champion the charity’s profile — acting as a confident and passionate ambassador to increase awareness and influence
* Work closely with the Board of Trustees to set strategic direction, monitor performance, and ensure sound governance
* Oversee service delivery to ensure excellence, safeguarding, and measurable impact for children and families.

The ideal candidate is someone who can demonstrate:
* a proven track record in fundraising and partnership development across diverse income streams
* strategic leadership experience in a charity or community organisation
* exceptional relationship building, communication, and influencing skills
* financial acumen and comfort with governance, compliance, and accountability
* passion for family wellbeing, inclusion, and safeguarding.
