iO are currently partnered with a consultancy style business who have a magnitude of worldwide offices. Currently, they are on the lookout for an Electronics Design Engineer to join on a permanent basis with the primary office being Oxford.
Focusing on mainly safety-critical projects within the Space Industry, you will assist the current team in continuing to deliver solutions efficiently to clients whilst simultaneously providing excellent service. With working in a consultancy environment, you will essentially be given 'fast track' learning which will allow you to develop your skills within a short time span, repeatedly. It will also give you the ability to see multiple full product life cycles, right from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
* Strong understanding of engineering in a high-risk environment whilst performing high levels of safety and reliability
* Professionalism within High-Frequency PCB Layout
* FPGA integration knowledge
* Flexible PCB design (2-6 and up to 16 layers)
* Ability to be compliant with ISO space standards and EMI/EMC
* Eligible for UK Security Clearance
