* Support the Registered Manager with the *day-to-day running* of the home to ensure that the home meets *Ofsted and statutory requirements.*
* Lead, support and develop your team *ensuring high standards of practice.*
* Supervise, mentor, and support staff, including through *regular supervisions and coaching.*
* Understand *Ofsted regulations and be able to assist in Reg 44 visits.*
* Risk assess situations and make *confident, informed decisions.*
* Support 2 young people through *dysregulated and complex behaviours.*
*What We're Looking For*We're looking for someone who:
* Is passionate about making a *real difference* in children's lives
* Has a minimum of *2 years' experience working within an EBD residential children's home *
* Has experience working with *children with dysregulated behaviours*
* Is a strong practitioner with professional credibility
* Has experience *de-escalating and managing dysregulated behaviours*
* Has a good knowledge of *safeguarding* and child protection
* Works well as part of a close, supportive team
* Has completed a minimum of *50% of the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent*
* Holds a *full UK driving licence and has access to a car* (essential due to location and role requirements)
*Shift Pattern*
* *2-week rolling rota*
* Long week: *Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday*
* Short week: *Wednesday and Thursday*
* Every other *long weekend off*
* Shifts run *08:00 – 21:00*
* Average *42 hours per week*
