Our client who is a trusted UK leader in imports are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the warehouse operations.

Reporting directly into the Managing Director the Warehouse Manager Duties will include:
Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, ensuring accurate reception, picking, packing, and dispatching
Manage stock control, inventory accuracy, turnover, and shrinkage
Lead and develop a team of warehouse operatives/FLT Drivers, fostering a high-performance, safety-first culture
Coordinate with shipping, customs clearance, and supply-chain teams for seamless global operations
Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental standards
Drive process improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs
Analyse key metrics and prepare operational reports for senior management
Warehouse Manager Criteria:
Proven experience in a similar warehouse/logistics management role
Strong leadership skills and experience managing at least 10+ staff
In-depth knowledge of inventory control methodologies and logistics software
Excellent IT skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams including customs, shipping, and manufacturing
Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance
A hands-on, 'can-do' approach to problem-solving
Excellent understanding of Health and safety
