Job Vacancy: Coffee Shop Supervisor
Location: Romsey Station, Station Approach, Platform 2, Romsey, Hampshire SO51 8DU National Rail
Hours: 4 days per week, Monday–Saturday (rotating shifts within opening times)
Opening Hours: Mon–Fri 06:30–15:30, Sat 06:30–15:30* Platform One
Pay: £13–£14 per hour (DOE)
About the Role
We're seeking a reliable, trustworthy and experienced Supervisor to lead our small but busy coffee kiosk at Platform 2, Romsey Station. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in excellent customer service.
As a supervisor, you will:
Oversee daily operations when on shift
Serve high-quality coffee & food to commuters, local travellers, and residents
to deliver friendly, efficient service
Handle opening/closing routines, cashing up, and inventory basics
Ensure our kiosk remains clean, welcoming and well stocked
About the Location
The kiosk is based right at Romsey Railway Station – a well-used local transport hub on the Wessex Main Line in Hampshire. The station has regular commuter footfall throughout the week and is the gateway for many residents travelling to Southampton, Salisbury, and beyond. National Rail
Customers will include early-morning commuters grabbing coffee on the go, weekend leisure travellers, and local people passing through the station on foot or by bike. The station itself offers step-free access and basic facilities such as toilets and public Wi-Fi. National Rail
The kiosk is part of a community-focused café initiative, trading as Platform 2, serving coffee, breakfast items, sandwiches & snacks — a valued service for both travellers and the local community. Platform One
Ideal Candidate
We're particularly interested in applicants who are:
-Experienced in coffee shop / hospitality supervision
