Exciting opportunity to support the Victims’ Payment Board (VPB) in delivering the clinical assessment service for the Troubles Permanent Disablement Payment Scheme. We are recruiting experienced nurses & allied health professionals with expertise in mental health or psychiatric backgrounds and more than four years’ post-registration experience.

Responsibilities
* Conduct face-to-face (physically or virtually) reviews or assess available medical evidence to determine the permanence and percentage disablement of applicants’ conditions.
* Proactively seek additional medical evidence from GPs, healthcare professionals, or services to support TPS applications.
* Analyze and interpret clinical information to support assessments and prepare structured, evidence-based reports for the Department of Justice (DoJ) and the Victims Payment Board (VPB).
* Compile comprehensive, professional reports including detailed histories, justifications, and conclusions to aid VPB decision-making.
Criteria
* At least 4 years’ post-registration experience with completed AYE & PIP qualifications.
* Fully registered without sanctions or conditions with NISCC.
* Based in Northern Ireland.
* Background in Mental Health / Psychiatric specialties.
* Ability to work efficiently, manage boundaries, handle conversations, and adhere to timescales.
* Ability to relate to diverse socio-economic, racial, religious, and cultural backgrounds.
* Strong report writing skills, comfortable with high IT usage.
* Gather and analyze relevant clinical information and evidence.
